About Me

My journey towards unemployment began in august of 2008, when my 2-year contract expired. I was a project development analyst for Medium And Small-scale Industries Coordinated Action Program II (MASICAP II) MSME Development Foundation, Inc. Those two years were dedicated to help individuals and small industries obtain a loan or grant from different funding institutions in the country.

Though I liked the job, I was happy to let it go. Maybe it’s because I’m a person who cannot stay in one place for a long time. Or, as what I like to think, I’m destined to be an entrepreneur and not an employee. Thus the string of small businesses, which my husband (then boyfriend) and I ventured together. Most of which failed and only one remained. We put up a small internet café in my hometown in September of 2009. It kept things afloat for us but I know that it’s only temporary. The computer units are fast getting outdated and we have no resources to replace them.

Actually, after my stint at MASICAP, I applied for a position at BDO. I was considered for a position, but then the idea of a putting up a business appealed to me more. I turned the job down. You might think, “what’s with her? She should have accepted the job. This site would not have existed!”. But then it did. This blog was made possible because of that decision two years ago.

So here I am, unemployed, a full time housewife and blogger. I surf the world wide web every single day to fill the time. But mostly, I do house chores. One day, I decided to make a difference, to get outside the box for once and do something worthwhile. I may not be the perfect guide for my unemployed peers, but I hope to inspire. 🙂
