What’s Next After Graduation?

23 May

Yes, you’ve endured four years in college. Yes, you got honors (e.g., cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude). You are more than ready to tackle the employment world. What with the years of preparation. Yet you find yourself not knowing where to start, or even how. Heck, you got the skills, the confidence to face the employers, all the credentials. I’ve been there and I know how it feels to have your resume and other credentials in your hands but don’t know what to do with them. You’re not alone.

This blog is all about the endeavors of a college graduate and how to deal with problems facing the young Filipino generation. I hope this blog can help you with your quest to find the right career, project, or even a hobby or two while you are yet to be employed. My first advice? Enjoy these “unemployed days” for when you finally get the job, you can happily say, “My jobless days were productive and fulfilling. The experience led me to where I am now.”

I’m Arzel Ariosa, the author of this blog. I am not perfect. I’m just like any other average graduate, no honors and unemployed. I am not here to give perfect, foolproof advice. Yet, I will try my best to give the best possible advice I have on any subject related to the quest of the young Filipino graduate. I hope this blog serves its purpose and help the young generation in my own little way.

I’m looking forward to working with you! 🙂
